Adidas has a rich history producing basketball sneakers, beginning in the 40`s with the “Trainingsstiefel” and later in the 70`s with the Superstar. Later, in the 90`s adidas tried out a more futuristic design with the Crazy 8, a high-top basketball shoe with a wavy midsole.
