Gracing the courts in 1988, perhaps the most famous design feature of the AJ3 is its textured, elephant-like accents which immediately set it apart from its predecessors. Paying homage to the Washington Wizards, the Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Wizards’ is coated in hues reminiscent of that worn by MJ in his 2001-2002 season. Uppers keep the usual tumbled white leather, with elephant detailing and doses of blue in the colours of Washington’s team.
